About Me

I’ve been a social worker for a decade, providing strengths-based support and unconditional positive regard to adults and children alike.

My clients have included adults experiencing mental health stressors, persons experiencing addiction, the family and friends of people with substance abuse disorder, and children from preschool through high school.

Working with youth in foster treatment homes, I coordinated multi-disciplinary teams in support of the kids, while meeting with each child weekly to provide individual counseling.

My clinical training was at Monmouth University, with specialized training in co-occurring disorders (addiction-mental health) from Rutgers University.

I’ve raised children and been an active member of the community, at ease with all strata of society. Clients and colleagues have described me as nonjudgemental, compassionate, understanding, respectful.

Perhaps most compelling is my personal experience coming to terms with many of life’s challenges. Part of my journey has been from victim, to surviving, to thriving.

I can help guide you through to better outcomes, pointing out pitfalls along the way.

As a team, you’ll become empowered to work through life’s challenges.
